Trackcath is a catheter based system made of three different components:
TC Catheter, a disposable guiding and diagnostic catheter integrating a proprietary blood flow velocity sensor.
TC FMU, the proprietary equipment used for reading the blood flow velocity signals.
TC Monitor, the Graphical User Interface connected to the TC FMU through ethernet connection. It displays to the user the blood flow velocity information.
The Trackcath is used for measuring blood flow velocity differences within the human aorta. This information helps the physician identify the position of side branches or orifices within the vasculature.
